Spring Conference Presentation Proposals
Deadline to submit:

MASA and MOSPRA Members,
Our members are known for their leadership, creativity and expertise. If you have an area that you believe will be of interest to others, please submit a session proposal!
Please consider the follow topics for presentation proposals, but feel free to go beyond this list:
- Addressing teacher shortages
- AI and ChatGPT (including effective use of these tools, how AI is impacting education, and much more)
- Best practices in onboarding new board members
- Board relations for varying school sizes
- Bond and levy campaigns
- C & I for superintendents who are the instructional leaders for their districts
- Creative funding
- Developing and evaluating leadership teams
- Developing outstanding curriculum
- Ethics in leadership
- Facility planning
- Finance sessions for school leaders at different points in their career
- FMLA/ADA/Unemployment compensation
- Focus on new leaders
- Focus on veteran leaders
- Gender-related issues
- Generational communications (multiple angles including attracting and retaining staff)
- HB 727 Update and Impact
- Mental wellness (for school leaders, staff, students)
- New superintendent evaluation
- Parent/Community/Staff leadership building programs
- Placeholder for Title IX based on November elections
- Public education advocacy and marketing
- Retirement planning (learning from PSRS leaders and from those who have been through the process)
- School Communications including effective story telling, new ideas for video, marketing/branding, internal communications, social media, crisis communications (multiple angles), etc. (MOSPRA will be responsible for most of these sessions, but MASA members may also submit proposals)
- Strategic planning
- Success Ready Schools Network
- Teacher retention & recruitment
- Workforce development
We welcome other proposals that fall outside of the above noted potential topics!
SPECIAL NOTE: Panel discussions of key topics with representation from varying sized school districts are always well received!
Please share this with others on your administrative staff as well as specialists/experts in areas that support the work of MASA and MOSPRA!
MASA and MOSPRA do not accept proposals from business members; however, should a MASA or MOSPRA member wish to involve a business in a presentation, this is acceptable. Please check with MASA or MOSPRA in advance.
