Participants in this session will engage in powerful learning experiences designed to help them explore implicit bias and leading for equity. Topics that will be addressed include: common language for discussing issues of equity and cultural competence; understanding and exploring the cycle of socialization; exploring the fabric of oppression and power puzzle to better understand the multi-identities we serve and how society impacts each; unraveling implicit bias and what can be done about it; and ways leaders can foster equity-centered organizations.
